3. Maternity rooms
To support pregnant students and staff, NSPI has equipped maternity rest rooms with beds and lounge chairs. These rooms provide privacy and comfort, allowing expectant mothers to rest in a safe and supportive space.
4. Medical Rooms
NSPI maintains on-campus medical facilities staffed by professional healthcare workers. These rooms provide first aid, maternal care support, and emergency services until further professional medical help is arranged.
5. Assistive Technologies in the Library
Navoi State Pedagogical Institute offers a range of assistive technologies in its library for students with visual impairments:
A dedicated room is available for blind and low-vision students.
The room is equipped with 4 computers pre-installed with the NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) screen reading software, which helps users navigate and operate the computer via voice guidance.
An audio library of 565 academic resources is stored and accessible through these systems, allowing students to listen to textbooks and other educational materials in Uzbek or other languages.
6. Braille Books for the Blind
The university library has enriched its collection with Braille-printed books. As of now, there are 8 titles and 88 copies of educational materials in Braille script, provided through the ARM fund under the Higher Education Development Research Center of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan.
