3. Students competed in the preparation of Uzbek national dish – somsa
In Uzbek cuisine, somsapism has been developed since ancient times. Many varieties of this dish, such as leafy somsa, blue somsa, mint somsa, and pumpkin somsa, have pleased even those with a delicate palate.
In order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 52 of the Order No. 351 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as comprehensive preparation of students for independent family life, meaningful organization of their free time, the current On November 3 of 2018, NavDPI pre-school and primary education faculty organized the “Delicious Somsa” competition at the initiative of the faculty management, professors and teachers and tutors.
4. Maslenitsa means observing the winter season
The 1st-year Russian language and literature students of the Faculty of Russian and Kazakh Philology organized a holiday event called “Maslenitsa, i.e. observation of the winter season”.
It featured the demonstration of Russian national dishes, the performance of national songs and dances, and excerpts from plays based on national tales.
5. A traditional International Culture Festival was held at the Faculty of English Language and Literature
The festival, which was organized with the participation of professors and tutors of the faculty and students of the 2nd level, was attended by Uzbekistan, France, Korea, America, Mexico, China, Tajikistan, Italy, Azerbaijan, India, Brazil, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Egypt and another. performances featuring traditions, culture, national dishes, tunes and songs of a number of countries were presented.
Students competed in 3 conditions, and in the end, the participants were awarded with honorary 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
6. Nowruz national holiday
The ancient national holiday Navruz is celebrated on March 21. This day is the equinox. With the advent of this holiday, many Uzbek families prepare various national dishes such as Sumalak, Halim, Kok somsa, Osh. On the occasion of Nowruz, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Physical Culture held festive events. For the students of the student residence No. 1 and the faculty team, sumak was put in small pots and soup was brewed. Rector of the institute B. Sobirov participated in this event. Hands were opened in prayer, good intentions and wishes were expressed.
7. COOKING CHAMPIONSHIP, CULTURAL ENTERTAINMENT AND VISIT OF TEACHERS
Pursuant to the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation No. 351 dated August 9, 2023, NavDPI Mathematics-Informatics “Osh Championship” was held at the faculty. This dish is one of our oldest national dishes. The students were familiarized not only with the preparation processes of our national dish of pilaf, such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Nurotacha soup, but also tested their knowledge of our traditions, respect for Uzbek values, and the skills of the cooking students were evaluated by the judges. “The concert program and interesting performances organized by the talented performers of our faculty pleased those gathered at the event. The jury evaluated the cleanliness of the participants’ pots and pans, their working order, composition of ingredients, their correct preparation, creativity and food presentation, quality and indicators, and awarded the winners and actively participated young people. Today’s competition was not only to entertain students, but also to test all young people’s cooking skills.
8. “DINING PARTY”: ATTITUDES FOR FOOD PREPARATION DEFINED
At the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, it is important to organize free time of students in a meaningful way, to ensure and increase the importance of our national values among young people, to discover new abilities through various contests and events, and to create suitable conditions for them. became a mother.
It was for this purpose that the “ash party” championship was held today among the students of the Faculty of Arts and Mathematics and Informatics.
The students prepared Samarkand, Bukhara, Tashkent, Vodiy and other types of our national dish pilaf khontora.
The food presented by the participants was evaluated by the management of the institute, professors and teachers of the faculty and tutors, and the proud places were determined.
