Navoi State University (NSU) is committed to fostering a culture of respect, fairness, and equality. In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth – the University acknowledges that discrimination undermines productivity, innovation, and institutional integrity. This policy provides a structured approach to prevent, address, and eliminate workplace discrimination in all its forms, whether based on gender, religion, ethnicity, age, disability, or other characteristics.
2. Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of this policy is to promote a fair, transparent, and inclusive work environment. By institutionalizing non-discriminatory practices, NSU strengthens its reputation as a responsible academic employer. The objectives include safeguarding dignity, ensuring equal pay for equal work, promoting leadership diversity, and creating equitable access to opportunities in education and research.
3. Scope and Applicability
This policy covers all academic, administrative, and technical employees; part-time and full-time staff; students; research fellows; contract workers; and external vendors. It applies to all university-controlled premises, online environments, and affiliated programs.
