Navoi State University provides a regular shuttle bus service to facilitate sustainable and convenient transportation for students and staff. The university operates eco-friendly minibuses powered by CNG (compressed natural gas), which travel between the main academic buildings, dormitory areas, administrative blocks and nearby public transport stations.
The shuttle service runs every 20–30 minutes during working hours and is available free of charge to students, faculty, and administrative employees. Shuttle stops are clearly marked within the campus, and the schedule is displayed on campus notice boards.
This initiative significantly reduces private car use within the university area, minimizes greenhouse gas emissions, and supports the university’s goal of promoting sustainable and green transportation systems as part of the Green Campus Policy.
Furthermore, Navoi State University plans to expand the shuttle routes and gradually transition to fully electric vehicles to strengthen its commitment to eco-friendly mobility and environmental responsibility.
In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed between Navoi State University and the Navoi City Transport Department. According to this agreement, Navoi State University leased electric buses brought by the Navoi City Transport Department and established free use of electric buses by university students and professors within the city and between campuses.
