1. A cleaning campaign was held under the slogan “We care for nature” as part of the youth tourism week organized by the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Navoi City Council and the Navoi Region Department of Culture and Tourism.
2. Navoi State University, Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education, Elementary Education, 2nd “B” Group Students and Interfaculty Department of Foreign Languages, French Language Teacher Hakimova Dilrabo Yoldoshevna “L`ENVIRONNEMENT” A cultural and educational open lesson was held on the topic of (Environment). The open lesson was in an upbeat mood and qualified teachers took place with the participation of Students are happy to have a short conversation in French.
3. With the initiative of the Youth Union Council of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of NSU and the initiative of active youth, a youth festival called “Youth in harmony with nature” was organized. Talented students of the faculty were awarded with their wonderful music. It was a great day for teachers and young people.
4. Life on Land: Biodiversity Awareness Seminar at NSU
On 22 May, in observance of International Day for Biological Diversity, Navoiy State University, in collaboration with the Navoiy regional “Young Ecologists” movement, organized an educational seminar on biodiversity conservation. The initiative, led by movement member Akramov Elmurodjon, focused on protecting terrestrial flora and fauna and maintaining ecological balance.
Students and faculty participants from NSU gained valuable insights into the importance of biodiversity in human life, strategies for safeguarding ecosystems, and ways to promote sustainable environmental practices. The seminar also encouraged youth engagement in ecological initiatives, reinforcing NSU’s commitment to fostering environmental awareness and sustainable stewardship among its academic community.
5. Youth, Nature, and Initiative: Plogging Action at NSU
On 22 April, in observance of International Earth Day, students and staff of Navoi State University, together with members of the regional “Young Ecologists” movement, organized a unique plogging action in Navoi city.
Plogging is an ecological activity that combines jogging with collecting litter, promoting both physical fitness and environmental cleanliness. Through this initiative, participants not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also raised awareness about sustainable practices and ecological responsibility.
The event reinforced healthy lifestyles, community solidarity, and environmental stewardship among NSU students and youth in the region.
6. International Earth Day at Navoi State University
On 22 April, in celebration of International Earth Day, a high-level environmental event was organized at Navoi State University by the Department of English Linguistics, led by lecturers , with the participation of students from group 403-404.
The event welcomed by Head of the Navoi Regional Branch of the Young Ecologists Movement, as a guest speaker. Participants highlighted the importance of preserving nature, protecting biodiversity, and raising ecological awareness among youth.
Key actions promoted during the event included:
  • Planting a tree sapling as a symbolic gesture of care for the Earth.
  • Conserving water and other natural resources.
  • Respecting nature and all living beings.
  • Keeping our environment clean and sustainable.
7. Environmental Awareness and Action at Navoi State University
Protecting the planet is everyone’s responsibility. In line with this principle, the Young Ecologists Movement, with support from the Navoi Region Branch, organized a series of environmental projects under the slogans:
  • “Let’s Protect Our Earth”
  • “For a Waste-Free Life”
  • “Thank You for Disposing Waste Properly”
Despite the cold weather, students and staff of Navoi State University actively participated in these initiatives, demonstrating warmth, dedication, and environmental responsibility.
The projects included awareness campaigns, eco-friendly activities, and practical actions aimed at promoting proper waste disposal, environmental cleanliness, and sustainable habits among the university community.
