On September 20, an environmental campaign dedicated to World Cleanup Day was held at the Alisher Navoi Recreation Park in the city of Navoi under the slogan “Make Space for Life.”
Volunteer groups made up of students from the Faculties of Languages and History of Navoi State University actively participated in the event, promoting a healthy lifestyle by combining jogging with environmental cleanup activities.
The active involvement of the university students in this initiative was highly appreciated, and they were awarded memorable gifts by the organizers.
🔹 The active participation of our students in such noble initiatives not only contributes to preserving the purity of nature but also plays an important role in enhancing environmental awareness among the youth.
🌱 As part of the Youth Tourism Week organized in cooperation with the Navoi City Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and the Navoi Regional Department of Culture and Tourism, a cleanup campaign was held under the slogan “We Care for Nature.”
The faculty professors, teachers, and tutors carried out cleanliness and improvement work in classrooms and on the faculty premises. In particular, pine trees were planted, areas were cleared of dry branches, and trees were whitewashed. Desks and chairs, windows and doors, as well as boards were wiped and cleaned of dust and dirt.
While the female students took care of cleaning their classrooms, the male students carried out cleaning and improvement work in the designated area of the faculty courtyard: the soil around the trees was loosened, watered, the walkways were cleaned, and the pine saplings were whitewashed.
⚡️On the occasion of this date, a community clean-up event was organized today at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, in cooperation with the Ecological Party of Navoi Region.
