Today, within the framework of the nationwide project “Green Space” (Yashil Makon), an additional 3,000 mulberry trees were planted on the territory of Navoi State University, located in the “Malik” neighborhood of Karmana district.
The event was actively attended by the academic and administrative staff of Navoi State University. Teachers, volunteer students, members of the “Qalqon” team, and service personnel all took part in the tree-planting campaign in a spirit of unity and cooperation.
This initiative is a clear indication that environmental awareness and culture are steadily growing among the youth and intellectuals of our country. 🌱
2. 3,000 Saplings Planted in Karmana District Within the Framework of the “Green Space” Project
Today, Navoi State University organized a large-scale tree-planting campaign in Karmana District as part of the “Green Space” (Yashil Makon) national project. This initiative is aimed at improving the ecological environment of our country, expanding green areas, and increasing environmental awareness among the population.
The event was attended by Professor Mukhiddin Kalonov, Rector of Navoi State University, along with numerous professors, teachers, volunteers, and environmental activists. Together, they planted thousands of saplings, contributing to the expansion of green zones and the promotion of a sustainable environment. 🌱
3. The Nationwide “Green Space” Project: Flower Planting Events Held Across University Faculties
As part of the nationwide “Green Space” (Yashil Makon) project, flower planting activities are being carried out across the faculties of Navoi State University.

4. “Intellectuals’ Garden” Established at the University
At the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, a tree-planting marathon was officially launched within the “Green Space” (Yashil Makon) nationwide project at the “Intellectuals’ Garden” located on the campus of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
Under the leadership of the administration of Navoi State University, professors, staff members, and volunteer students contributed to the expansion of green areas and took part in the creation of the “Intellectuals’ Garden” in the area. 🌱
5. The University Team Participated in the Nationwide Marathon Held Within the Framework of the “Green Space” Project
In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-199 dated November 23, 2023, “On measures to ensure environmental sustainability through the consistent implementation of the nationwide ‘Green Space’ project,” a number of initiatives are being carried out across the country to further improve the environmental situation.
Recently, higher education institutions across the nation launched the “Green Space” (Yashil Makon) nationwide project. The team of Navoi State University actively participated in the marathon, which was broadcast live via the ZOOM platform, and planted saplings on the university’s designated land area. 🌱
6. Within the framework of the nationwide “Green Space” (Yashil Makon) project, a “Youth Garden” was established at the Navoi State University Student Dormitory. A total of 100 fruit tree saplings were planted in this garden. 🍏🌳
7. The “Green Space” (Yashil Makon) Nationwide Project in Action at Navoi State University
Today, within the framework of the “Green Space” nationwide project, a high-level event titled “Important 40-Day Campaign” was organized on the premises of the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education in cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection.
🍀 As part of this initiative, Ahror Mustapaev, Head of the Investment Projects Implementation Department of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, together with representatives of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, university administration, faculty deans, ecology staff, and volunteer groups, actively participated in the event.
In total, 2,000 ornamental and fruit trees were planted across all university buildings and surrounding areas.
