Navoi State University (NSU) upholds the principle that all individuals working on its campuses—whether directly employed or through third-party contracts—deserve fair and equitable treatment. In line with Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), NSU ensures that outsourcing practices comply with ethical standards, national labour laws, and international human rights principles.
2. Purpose and Objectives
This policy ensures that the rights of outsourced workers are protected and that NSU maintains a transparent, ethical outsourcing system. The main objectives are:
  • To guarantee fair wages, benefits, and safe working conditions for outsourced workers.
  • To prevent discrimination, exploitation, and unsafe labour practices in outsourced operations.
  • To ensure outsourcing partners follow Uzbekistan’s labour legislation and ILO standards.
  • To align all outsourcing agreements with NSU’s sustainability and SDG 8 framework.
