A “Career Day” job fair was held at Navoi State University. 2,000 students participated in the fair. They were provided with detailed information about vacancies offered by about 40 enterprises, organizations, institutions and commercial banks.
Within the framework of the fair, university graduates signed contracts with relevant organizations in their specialty and were guaranteed future employment.
The event was attended by Deputy Governor of Navoi region J. Khodjayev, rector of the university, professor Mukhiddin Kalonov, head of the regional Youth Affairs Agency L. Kayumov, as well as heads of partner organizations and industry specialists.
Within the framework of the event, scientific inventions, published textbooks and manuals, monographs, achievements in the field of sports, and creative works created based on manual labor were exhibited at the exhibition of works carried out by faculties and departments.
This academic year, 4,873 students are graduating from Navoi State University. Of these, 2,451 are full-time students, 318 are evening students, 1,883 are part-time students, and 221 are master’s degree graduates.
