A Republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “Karmana – a land with an ancient past, a prosperous present, a bright future” was held at the Karmana District Cultural Center in collaboration with Navoi State University.
It was attended by prominent scientists, researchers, intellectuals and representatives of the general public from different regions of our country.
At the plenary session of the conference, scientific reports were heard on the rich history of Karmana, scientists who were born and worked in this region, and monuments included in the UNESCO list.
The conference was attended by the rector of Navoi State University, Professor Mukhiddin Kalonov, who delivered a speech. The event was also attended by professors and teachers of the Faculty of History and students
